Eddie in the Live with Kelly and Ryan show on Friday

Eddie was a guest in the Live with Kelly and Ryan show yesterday (Feb.16, 2018) promoting Early Man in NYC

You can watch the full video here

Eddie: "We've just about got to that stage where we're just beginning to sort of get sleep and
remember what that word means," he said. "I'm getting prepped to go back into the trenches."

Ryan: Do you know what you're having?
Eddie: We don’t know
Ryan: Are you going to find out?
Eddie: We’re not going to find out.

Ryan: So do you pick two names?
Eddie: Yeah! What is interesting, because last
time we didn’t know either, and we sort of did
that thing where there was basically only one
name for each sex that we agreed on. So, if it’s
a boy, we have a name, but if it’s a girl…I think
we’re still in discussions. We’re negotiating.”

"When we had Iris, I remember early on in Hannah's pregnancy, people were like, 'Are
you going to find out?' Hannah went, 'No,' and I went, 'Yes,' at exactly the same time,
" Eddie said he would then tell people, "No! Obviously, no! I mean, whatever...!"

Ironically, the nurse slightly sort of accidentally gave it away to Hannah—but
she didn't tell me. She sort of had a sense that Iris was going to be a girl."

Joking that his daughter is "basically a prodigy," Eddie said Iris doesn't quite grasp
that she's months away from becoming a big sister. "I thought she was genius child
because she came up to Hannah and started kissing her tummy and saying 'Baby!
Baby in there.' I was like, 'Ah, amazing!' Then she came up to me, kissed my tummy,
kissed her own tummy and said, 'Baby in there.' Uh...not quite. She also calls her toy
monkey 'Baby,' so..." - VIDEO

In the second part he talked about Allison Janney

Eddie Redmayne interviewed by Kelly Ripa and Ryan Seacrest

In the third part of the interview Eddie talked about 'Early Man'
Eddie talked about the recordings, the physicality, soccer and more...
Eddie: "I'm completely useless in most sports and particularly football...
My brothers are like genius soccer players. I was never gonna be in a
sort of sports movie, in which I got to actually be any good at that, so
I decided to do the claymation version, and I get to do like overhead
kicks, and all of this stuff.
Kelly: Your brothers are good at football...Eddie: Yeah! Exactly.
Kelly: But how many Academy Awards do they have? Eddie: Yeah!!!

Candids from Eddie's Early Man NYC promo trip

Eddie Redmayne arrived to his NYC hotel on 12 Feb 2018 (source:

portroids: Eddie Redmayne in New York, NY. February 13, 2018.

Eddie arrived at Times Square on 13rd February 2018 for the GMA interview

Early Man was released today here in Hungary, and I went to see it. It was good to have
some fun. Unfortunately there were only dubbed screenings, I have to wait a bit more to
see it with the original voices, to hear Eddie, Tom Hiddleston and Maisie Williams in it.

Happy 28th Birthday to Eddie's co-star Callum Turner! :)

Eddie in NYC promoted Early Man in ABC's Good Morning America

Eddie promoted Early Man in ABC’s Good Morning America today in NYC.
In the interview he also talked about his growing family and his former
“puppy” roommate Jamie Dornan.

“…You know, I’ve barely done any voice work before so I had no idea what the process
would be …you sit in a sound booth with the director and you mess around for a couple
of hours doing ridiculous noises … I got physically into it, so I ended up after the
recording session with all these weird sort of knots and I had to go to a chiropractor …”

What’s it like having a tiny one at home? Eddie: It’s wonderful. She is completely wonderful.
I don’t think she’s really aware that there’s a … we thought that there was a moment when
she went up to my wife, Hannah, & kissed her tummy & went ‘baby?’. I was like - she’s
only 18 months, Iris - so I was like ‘wow, she’s a genius!’ & then she turns round & points
to my stomach & kissed my stomach & was like ‘baby?’. (via)

Eddie Redmayne said living with Jamie Dornan was like ''living with a puppy''. They shared an
apartment in their earlier in LA. He told Good Morning America: ''Basically, it was like living
with a puppy because he has more energy than any human being you've ever met. There's sort
of a twilight zone between 5:00 and 6:00 when he just goes insane and it was like a puppy.''
Jamie previously revealed Eddie was ''desperate'' when they used to live together.
''...We were both very desperate, you know it was slim pickings in those days for work -
the idea was you'd come out and all go to the same sort of auditions...We both had the
same agent at the time and I remember on the second day, one of the courieres arrived
with 25 scripts and Eddie and I were like, 'Who's it for?' It was for me. Eddie didn't
take it that well. He was calling his agent saying, 'Jamie just got a sent loads of scripts.'
About an hour later a courier arived with the exact same stack of scripts.''
(Eddie talked about what was it like living with Jamie in an interview for e-talk too.)
